PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly grasp passing traveling of a self-vehicle and perform appropriate drive support.SOLUTION: A drive support ECU 10 comprises: an initial determination unit for determining the presence or absence of initial operation, in the state of the presence of a preceding vehicle in front of a self-line where a self-vehicle travels, when the self-vehicle laterally moves to a lateral position where the self-vehicle can pass the preceding vehicle from a position behind the preceding vehicle; a movement determination unit for determining that the self-vehicle has laterally moved to the lateral position from the position behind the preceding vehicle; a passing state determination unit for, in the case where the initial operation is determined and lateral movement of the self-vehicle to the lateral position is also determined, determining whether or not a traveling state of the self-vehicle is a passing traveling state in which the self-vehicle can pass the preceding vehicle on the basis of at least one of relative distance and relative speed with respect to the preceding vehicle; and a passing determination unit for determining that the self-vehicle is going to pass the preceding vehicle when it is determined that the self-vehicle is in the passing traveling state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
