PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress line congestion in pedestrian-to-vehicle communication when pedestrians grow to a mass, and to save the power consumption of a pedestrian terminal device.SOLUTION: A pedestrian terminal device 2 is provided with a communication unit 22 for performing transmission/reception of pedestrian-to-vehicle communication, a walk state determination unit 24 for discriminating between a moving state and a static state, an other terminal state determination unit 26 for determining the physical relationship with or movement direction of other pedestrian terminal devices, and a transmission determination unit 27 for determining to transmit or not transmit by the communication unit. When it is determined that the own device is in a moving state and an other pedestrian terminal device is located at less than a first distance from the own device and is moving in the same direction as the own device, it is possible to suppress line congestion in pedestrian-to-vehicle communication and save the power consumption of a pedestrian terminal device determined not to transmit when pedestrians determining to transmit or not transmit pedestrian-to-vehicle communication grow to a mass on the basis of the result of comparison of identification information included in a wireless signal received from other pedestrian terminal devices with the identification information of the own device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】歩行者が集団になった場合の歩車間通信に於ける回線混雑を抑制し得ると共に歩行者端末装置の省電力化を向上する。【解決手段】歩行者端末装置2に、歩車間通信の送受信を行う通信部22と、移動状態か静止状態かを判定する歩行状態判定部24と、他の歩行者端末装置との位置関係や移動方向を判定する他端末状態判定部26と、通信部による送信または非送信を決定する送信決定部27とを設け、自己が移動状態で、他の歩行者端末装置が自己から第1距離未満に位置し、自己と同方向に移動していると判定された場合に、他の歩行者端末装置から受信した無線信号に含まれる識別情報と自己の識別情報とを比較した結果に基づいて、歩車間通信の送信または非送信を決定する歩行者が集団になった場合の歩車間通信に於ける回線混雑を抑制し得ると共に非送信状態とした歩行者端末装置の省電力化を向上し得る。【選択図】図2
