PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propulsion performance improvement device being inexpensive and having manufacturing easiness.SOLUTION: A propulsion performance improvement device disposed in front of the propeller of a hull includes fixed blades 7-10 consisting of stators 7A-10A having a blade cross-sectional shape which are made of fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) such as CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic), GFRP(Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) and the like and stator holding parts 7B-10B being mounted to the bossing 3 of the hull, holding the stators 7A-10A, being made of steel and having the blade cross-sectional shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】安価で且つ製作容易性を備えた推進性能向上装置を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】船体のプロペラ前方に設けられる推進性能向上装置であって、CFRP(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic)やGFRP(Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic)等の繊維強化プラスチック(FRP)からなる翼断面形状のステータ7A〜10Aと、当該船体のボッシング3に対して取り付けられ、ステータ7A〜10Aを保持する鋼鉄製で翼断面形状のステータ保持部7B〜10Bと、からなる固定翼7〜10を有することを特徴とする推進性能向上装置。【選択図】図4
