PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caught-in detection device at more economical price than before.SOLUTION: A caught-in detection device 10 has a long shape and a sensor 20 that can detect that external force in a direction vertical to a longer direction is applied to an outer peripheral surface. The caught-in detection device 10 has a sensor holding part 31 to hold the sensor 20 and a holding member 30 with a holding part 32 to hold a junction SDa formed on a slide door SD (or panel PN). The sensor holding part 31 is made of synthetic resin material and the holding part 32 is made of a synthetic rubber material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
