PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce aerodynamic noise in a vehicle outer mirror device which results from laminar peeling over a wide travel speed range and further improve the quietness in a passenger compartment.SOLUTION: In a vehicle outer mirror device, an air intake port 36 and an air outlet port 26 are formed in covers 14, 16. Further, a communication passage 24 which allows the air intake port 36 and the air outlet port 26 to communicate with each other is provided in the covers 14, 16.
