PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a train control system which can realize safe operation of a train at a low cost.SOLUTION: Plural ground elements 3A, 3B located along a rail track 1 comprise a ground element information holding part 31 which holds a travel upper limit time for the plural ground elements 3A, 3B which is set based on an operation curve of a train 2 travelling between the plural ground elements 3A, 3B, and a ground element information transmission part 32 which communicates with the train 2. An on-board device is loaded on the train 2 travelling on the rail track 1. The on-board device comprises: a train information transmission part 23 which communicates with the ground elements 3A, 3B; a train speed control part 22 which controls a travel speed of the train 2; and a train information comparison part 21 which outputs a command to the train speed control part 22 on the basis of a result of comparison between the travel upper limit time which is acquired when passing the ground elements 3A, 3B and a lapsed time after passing the ground elements 3A, 3B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】列車の安全な運行を、低コストで実現する列車制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】軌道1に沿って配置される複数の地上子3A、3Bには、複数の地上子3A、3Bの間を走行する列車2の運転曲線に基づいて設定される、複数の地上子間3A、3Bの走行上限時間を保持する地上子情報保持部31及び列車2と通信を行う地上子情報伝送部32を備える。軌道1を走行する列車2には、地上子3A、3Bと通信を行う列車情報伝送部23、列車2の走行速度を制御する列車速度制御部22及び地上子3A、3Bを通過する際に取得する走行上限時間と、地上子3A、3Bを通過後の経過時間との比較結果に基づいて列車速度制御部22へ指令を出力する列車情報比較部21を備える車上装置を搭載する。【選択図】図2
