PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adverse effect of heat from occurring to a three-phase coil even if motor torque varies and a state of a current distribution to the three-phase coil varies.SOLUTION: The control system of a motor for driving a vehicle comprises: a motor torque acquiring portion 155 that acquires motor torque that a three-phase AC motor outputs; a current distribution state acquiring portion 156 that acquires a state of a current distribution to each phase coil of a stator of the three-phase AC motor; a temperature sensor that detects a temperature of a specific phase coil of the three-phase coils as a coil sensor temperature; and a motor torque control portion 157 that renews the other phase estimated temperature, an estimated temperature of the other phase coil, using an integrated value of a rising temperature per unit time at each timing of the other phase coil, a coil other than the specific coil of the three-phase coils, and controls the motor torque using at least the other phase estimated temperature. The rising temperature per unit time of the other phase coil at each timing is determined by the motor torque control portion 157 according to a combination of the motor torque and the current distribution state at each timing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
