PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference between a load cancel member and a transmission case, while attaining compactification of a shift operation mechanism, in a manual transmission having the load cancel member for improving operability when moving a control rod in the axial direction.SOLUTION: A load cancel member 70 rotatable around the axis of extending along a surface for crossing with a control rod of extending in the vertical direction, is arranged above a transmission case 12, and a weight part 73 is provided on one end side of the load cancel member 70, and the other end side is provided with an engaging part for engaging with the control rod 30 and rocking the weight part 73 in the inverse direction by interlocking with the axial directional movement in the vertical direction of the control rod, and at least a part on the weight part 73 side with respect to the axis in the load cancel member 70, is arranged on the vehicle body front side more than a contour line 12b on the vehicle body front side of the transmission case in a plan view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】コントロールロッドを軸方向に移動させるときの操作性を向上させるための荷重キャンセル部材を備えた手動変速機において、変速操作機構のコンパクト化を図りつつ、荷重キャンセル部材と変速機ケースとの干渉を防止する。【解決手段】変速機ケース12の上方に、上下方向に延びるコントロールロッドに交差する面に沿って延びる軸心周りに回動可能な荷重キャンセル部材70を配設し、荷重キャンセル部材70の一端側に錘部73を設け、他端側に、コントロールロッド30に係合し、該コントロールロッドの上下方向の軸方向移動に連動させて錘部73を逆方向に揺動させる係合部を設け、荷重キャンセル部材70における軸心よりも錘部73側の少なくとも一部を、平面視における変速機ケースの車体前方側の輪郭線12bよりも車体前方側に配置する。【選択図】図2
