PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothen lubrication performance at transition to a limit state that an upper limit value is selected from a non-limit state that a demand value is selected.SOLUTION: A vehicle speed limit device includes: demand value calculation means for calculating a demand value corresponding to an accelerator opening; upper limit value calculation means for calculating an upper limit value related to a drive force; selection means for selecting a smaller value out of the demand value and the upper limit value; and control means for controlling a drive force generation device so that a drive force corresponding to the value which is selected by the selection means is generated. When the upper limit value is selected by the selection means at a certain cycle, the upper limit value calculation means calculates the upper limit value on the basis of deviation between limit acceleration which is calculated from deviation between a limit vehicle speed and a current vehicle speed, and deviation between the limit acceleration and current acceleration at a preceding cycle, and on the other hand, when the demand value is selected by the selection means at a certain cycle, calculates the upper limit value on the basis of the limit acceleration, a current drive force which is generated by the drive force generation device and the current acceleration at a preceding cycle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】要求値が選択されている非制限状態から上限値が選択される制限状態への移行時の円滑性を高めること。【解決手段】車速制限装置は、アクセル開度に応じた要求値を算出する要求値算出手段と、駆動力に関連する上限値を算出する上限値算出手段と、要求値及び上限値のうちの小さい方の値を選択する選択手段と、選択手段により選択された値に対応した駆動力が発生するように駆動力発生装置を制御する制御手段とを含み、上限値算出手段は、ある周期で選択手段により上限値が選択された場合、次の周期では、制限車速及び現在の車速の偏差から算出される制限加速度と、制限加速度及び現在の加速度の偏差とに基づいて、上限値を算出する一方、ある周期で選択手段により要求値が選択された場合、次の周期では、制限加速度と、駆動力発生装置が発生している現在の駆動力と、現在の加速度とに基づいて、上限値を算出する。【選択図】図1
