PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric vehicle mounted with a secondary cell, capable of completely suppressing high-rate deterioration of the secondary cell.SOLUTION: A battery 16 is a secondary cell and inputs and outputs electric power into/from a vehicle drive apparatus 22. A current sensor 24 detects an electric current I input and output into/from the battery 16. An ECU 26 controls charge and discharge of the battery 16 and calculates an evaluation value ΣD showing the degree of a deterioration of the battery 16 resulting from a deviation of salt concentration of the battery 16 involved in charge and discharge, using a detection value of the current sensor 24. The ECU 26 performs control for increasing SOC of the battery 16 when the evaluation value ΣD exceeds a predetermined threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】二次電池を搭載した電動車両において、二次電池のハイレート劣化を確実に抑制する。【解決手段】電池16は、二次電池であり、車両駆動装置22との間で電力を入出力する。電流センサ24は、電池16に対して入出力される電流Iを検出する。ECU26は、電池16の充放電を制御する。また、ECU26は、電流センサ24の検出値を用いて、充放電に伴なう電池16の塩濃度の偏りに起因した電池16の劣化の度合いを示す評価値ΣDを算出する。そして、ECU26は、評価値ΣDが予め定められたしきい値を超えると、電池16のSOCを上昇させるための制御を実行する。【選択図】図1
