PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering lock device that inhibits a malfunction of external equipment.SOLUTION: An electric steering lock device includes a lock bar 52 which is displaced between a locked position and an unlocked position and to which a magnet 53 is attached, Hall ICs 54 to 56 that output a voltage dependent on a magnetic flux density, and a lock controller that controls the displacement of the lock bar 52 according to the voltage and outputs a result of the control. The Hall IC 56 is an analog Hall IC. If the voltage of the Hall IC 56 does not correspond to a normal operation environment voltage, the result of control concerning the displacement of the lock bar 52 is not outputted to external equipment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】外部機器の誤動作を抑制するステアリングロック装置を提供する。【解決手段】電動ステアリングロック装置は、ロック位置とアンロック位置との間を変位するとともに磁石53が取り付けられるロックバー52と、磁束密度に応じた電圧を出力するホールIC54〜56と、電圧に応じてロックバー52の変位を制御するとともにその制御結果を出力するロック制御部とを備える。ホールIC56はアナログ型のホールICであって、ロック制御部は、ホールIC56の電圧が正常動作環境下電圧に対応しない場合、ロックバー52の変位にかかる制御結果を外部機器へ出力しない。【選択図】図2
