PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope type platform safety fence which monitors an approach situation of a person to a lifting type rope, adjusts a lifting speed (an opening/closing speed) of the rope to a proper value in accordance with a motion and existing position of the person, reduces harm to the person such as a passenger, and ensures safety.SOLUTION: A rope type platform safety fence monitors a motion of a passenger with human detection sensors 27 and adjusts a lifting speed of at least one lifting type rope 13 to a proper value in accordance with the motion and existing places (E1, E2, E3) of the passenger. The human detection sensors 27 are installed at columns 11A-11C. This can prevent the passenger or the like from being harmed by the lifting type rope.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】昇降式ロープに対する人の接近状況を監視し、人の動きと存在位置に応じてロープの昇降速度(開閉速度)を適正な値になるように調整し、接触等による旅客等の人への危害を軽減し、安全性を確保するロープ式ホーム安全柵を提供する。【解決手段】ロープ式ホーム安全柵は、人検知センサ27で旅客の動き状況を監視し、旅客の動きと存在場所(E1,E2,E3)に応じて、少なくとも1本の昇降式ロープ13の昇降速度を適正値に調整する。人検知センサ13は支柱11A〜11Cに設置される。これにより、昇降ロープによって旅客等に危害が加えられるのを防止する。【選択図】図5
