PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling device driving mechanism capable of suppressing the increase of power consumption as much as possible during stationary turning.SOLUTION: A traveling device (10) configured to travel by a skid-steer method includes a pair of left and right wheels (12), an electric motor (13) for driving the wheels, and a transmission mechanism (14) capable of changing a reduction ratio for transmitting the rotation of the electric motor to the wheels. By the transmission mechanism, the reduction ratio of stationary turning at a fixed position is set larger than that of stationary linear back-and-forth traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
