PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve a seal performance.SOLUTION: In the non-contact seal device for a gear device 1 in which a small gear 3 of a pinion shaft 2 and a large gear 4 of an axle 5 are accommodated in a casing 6, for example, in a region from a bearing 9 of the pinion shaft 2 to the outside of the casing 6, a narrow gap 12a, a labyrinth passage 10, a large space 13, a narrow gap 12b and a space 14 are provided in an axial direction. An outlet 12bb of the narrow gap 12b and an inlet 10a of the labyrinth passage 10 are opened in an axial direction of the pinion shaft 2 at positions that are different in a radial direction of the pinion shaft 2. A radial length L2 of the pinion shaft 2 from the inlet 10a of the labyrinth passage 10 to an outer peripheral side end face of the large space 13 is made 0.3 times as long as a radial length L1 between the outlet 12bb and the inlet 10a, and an axial maximum length L3 of the pinion shaft 2 is made 0.5 times as long as the radial length L1 between the outlet 12bb and the inlet 10a.EFFECT: Oil droplets riding on a gas stream are sufficiently stagnated within the large space, the quantity of oil droplets to be captured is increased, and leakage to the outside of the casing can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】シール性能のさらなる向上を図る。【解決手段】小歯車軸2の小歯車3と、車軸5の大歯車4をケーシング6に収めた歯車装置1の非接触式シール装置である。例えば小歯車軸2の軸受9からケーシング6の外側に至る領域に、狭間隙12a、ラビリンス流路10、大空間13、狭間隙12b、空間14を軸方向に設ける。狭間隙12bの出口12bbと、ラビリンス流路10の入口10aを、小歯車軸2の半径方向に異なった位置で、小歯車軸2の軸方向に開口させる。ラビリンス流路10の入口10aと大空間13の外周側端面までの小歯車軸2の半径方向長さL2を出口12bbと入口10a間の半径方向長さL1の0.3倍以上、小歯車軸2の軸方向の最大長さL3を、出口12bbと入口10a間の半径方向長さL1の0.5倍以上にする。【効果】ガス流れに乗った油滴は大空間内で十分滞留して捕捉量が多くなり、ケーシング外部への漏出が防げる。【選択図】図1
