PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure of a yoke of a universal joint and a shaft member, in which the yoke has sufficient shaft holding force, and which prevents abnormal abrasion of a female serration tooth and has excellent abrasion resistance, and provide a steering device having the connection structure.SOLUTION: In a state after an output shaft 7 is inserted into a connection part 30 and before the connection part 30 is fastened with a fastening bolt 45, a radial gap S is formed between a male serration 51 and a female serration 38. In the radial dimension of the gap S, a gap S1 of an axial insertion side end of the female serration 38 to be a side that the output shaft 7 is inserted is made larger than a gap S2 on an arm end side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
