PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power storage unit which makes proper correction of charge or discharge starting voltage possible irrespective of a tap switching operation.SOLUTION: An electric power storage unit is constituted with a DC power source via a rectifier from an AC power source having an internal impedance and, by performing charging and discharging of a storage battery provided on the DC side, regulates storage or release of electric power on a DC side load. The electric power storage unit includes: an electric power control circuit which regulates storage or release of an electric power in accordance with a difference between a starting voltage of the charging and discharging of the storage battery, and a DC voltage; and a correction circuit which corrects the starting voltage of the charging and discharging in accordance with an input voltage of the rectifier. Therein, the correction circuit for correcting the starting voltage of the discharging judges a discharging operation starting timing of the electric power storage device by that a harmonic voltage which is in a relation of monotonous increase with an output electric current of the rectifier as a harmonic voltage which is contained in the input voltage of the rectifier, stores the DC voltage thereupon as the discharge starting voltage and keeps the voltage constant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】タップ切替操作に関係なく、適正な充電または放電開始電圧の補正を可能とする電力貯蔵装置を提供する。【解決手段】内部インピーダンスのある交流電源から整流器を介して直流電源を構成し、直流側に設けた蓄電池の充電及び放電を行うことにより直流側負荷における電力の貯蔵または放出を調整する電力貯蔵装置であって、蓄電池の充電及び放電の開始電圧と直流電圧の差に応じて、電力の貯蔵または放出を調整する電力制御回路と、整流器の入力電圧に応じて充電及び放電の開始電圧を補正する補正回路とを備え、放電の開始電圧を補正する補正回路は、電力貯蔵装置の放電運転開始タイミングを整流器の入力電圧に含まれる高調波電圧であって、整流器の出力電流と単調増加の関係にある高調波電圧が所定値以上に増加したことによって判定し、そのときの直流電圧を放電開始電圧として記憶し、一定に保持することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
