PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control unit which is applied to a vehicle that is not provided with a travel motor and that travels by a drive force of an internal combustion engine, and which can reduce a quantity of fuel to be used.SOLUTION: A starter motor (41) which is driven by electric power supplied from a lead-acid battery (20), and a motor-generator (10) which is driven by electric power supplied from a predetermined battery (30) that can be charged/discharged in a wider remaining capacity range than that of the lead-acid battery and which assists in driving of an internal combustion engine without directly acting on driving of a vehicle are coupled to the internal combustion engine, and a control unit (90) of the internal combustion engine comprises rotating-speed control means for controlling a rotating speed of the internal combustion engine during idling driving to a target rotating speed and is configured so that the rotating-speed control means reduces the target rotating speed of the internal combustion engine to a predetermined rotating speed which is set higher than a threshold at which there is a risk of stopping the internal combustion engine if the motor-generator can be driven by the electric power of the predetermined storage battery for the internal combustion engine during idling driving.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】走行用モータを備えず内燃機関の駆動力により走行する車両に適用され、燃料使用量を減少させることのできる内燃機関の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】内燃機関には、鉛蓄電池(20)から供給される電力により駆動するスタータモータ(41)と、鉛蓄電池よりも広い残容量範囲で充放電可能な所定蓄電池(30)から供給される電力により駆動して、車両の駆動に直接作用せず内燃機関の駆動を補助する電動発電機(10)と、が連結されており、内燃機関の制御装置(90)は、内燃機関のアイドリング運転中の回転速度を目標回転速度に制御する回転速度制御手段を備え、回転速度制御手段は、内燃機関のアイドリング運転中において所定蓄電池の電力により電動発電機を駆動可能な場合に、内燃機関の目標回転速度を内燃機関の停止が懸念される閾値よりも高く設定された所定回転速度に低下させることを特徴とする内燃機関の制御装置。【選択図】 図2
