PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmitter capable of urging a mobile to be stopped in such a manner that both coils are disposed within a transmission range in which power transmission is performed between both the coils, and a non-contact power transmission device.SOLUTION: A power transmitter 11 including an AC power source 13 and a primary-side coil 15 to which AC power outputted from the AC power source 13 is inputted, comprises a detection coil 31 that is provided separately from the primary-side coil 15. The detection coil 31 is disposed at a position where a magnetic flux penetrating both coils 15 and 25 are fluctuated in accordance with relative positions of the coils themselves in a situation that AC power is being outputted from the AC power source 13. The power transmitter 11 comprises a light-emitting diode 32 as a notification part of which a notification mode is made different in accordance with an electromotive force that is generated by the detection coil 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
