PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-contact power transmission device and a non-contact power transmission system that have a metal detection coil, the device and system being able to satisfactorily detect a metal foreign matter while preventing erroneous detection of a vehicle as metal foreign matter.SOLUTION: A non-contact power transmission device (power transmission device 200) comprises: a detecting part (detecting circuit 232) that detects output from a metal detection coil; and a control part 234 that, when a power receiving device (power receiving part 120) and a power transmission device 200 (power transmission part 210) mounted in a vehicle 100 are positioned to each other, controls a warning part 233 such that when output from the metal detection coil drops below a reference value, a warning operation is performed. When a vehicle 100 is located within a predetermined range from the power transmission device 200, the reference value is set lower than that when the vehicle 100 is located outside the predetermined range from the power transmission device 200.

    【課題】金属検知コイルを備えた非接触送電装置および非接触伝送システムにおいて、車両を金属異物として誤認することを抑制しつつも、金属異物を良好に検知することができる非接触送電装置および非接触伝送システムを提供する。【解決手段】非接触送電装置(送電装置200)は、金属検知コイルの出力を検知する検知部(検知回路232)と、車両100に搭載される受電装置(受電部120)と送電装置200(の送電部210)との位置合わせが行なわれるときに、金属検知コイルの出力が基準値を下回ると警告動作を実施するように警告部233を制御する制御部234とを備える。基準値は、車両100が送電装置200から所定範囲の内側に位置するときには、車両100が送電装置200から所定範囲の外側に位置するときよりも低く設定される。【選択図】図1
