PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device for a rope brake where abnormality of a rope brake can be detected at an early stage, can guarantee secure brake force, and has high reliability.SOLUTION: An inspection device for a rope brake includes: a displacement sensor 25 for measuring, respectively, a moving amount of a plurality of move parts 14a to 14d related to a movable shoe 12; and a diagnosis part 21 for determining degree of parallelization of the movable shoe 12 to a stationary shoe 11 on the basis of a moving amount measured value of the plurality of move parts, to determine normality or abnormality of rope brake operation on the basis of the degree of parallelization.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】早期にロープブレーキの異常が発見でき、確実な制動力が保障できる信頼性の高いロープブレーキの点検装置を提供する。【解決手段】可動シュー12に関わる複数の移動部14a〜14dの移動量をそれぞれ測定する変位センサ25と、複数移動部25の移動量測定値に基づいて固定シュー11に対する可動シュー12の平行度を判定して、その平行度に基づいてロープブレーキ動作の正常、異常を判定する診断部21を設けたことを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
