PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinion shaft structure reducing collision sound between a pinion shaft and a rolling bearing, and a steering device.SOLUTION: A pinion shaft structure is equipped with a pinion shaft 10 formed with a pinion tooth 11 engaged with a rack tooth 111 of a rack shaft 110; a ball bearing 20 which rotatably supports an axial center side than the pinion tooth 11 in the pinion shaft 10; a rolling bearing 30 which rotatably supports a tip end portion 12 on the outer side in an axial direction than the pinion tooth 11 in the pinion shaft 10; and a first bush 41 which is disposed in a vertical row with the rolling bearing 30 in the axial direction, rotatably supports the tip end portion 12, and can be elastically deformed. The tip end portion 12 elastically deforms the first bush 41, and then collides with the rolling bearing 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ピニオン軸ところ軸受との間における衝突音を低減するピニオン軸構造体及びステアリング装置を提供する。【解決手段】ラック軸110のラック歯111に噛合するピニオン歯11が形成されたピニオン軸10と、ピニオン軸10においてピニオン歯11よりも軸方向中心側を回転自在で支持する玉軸受20と、ピニオン軸10においてピニオン歯11よりも軸方向外側である先端部12を回転自在に支持するころ軸受30と、軸方向においてころ軸受30と縦列で配置されると共に、先端部12を回転自在に支持し、弾性変形可能である第1ブッシュ41と、を備え、先端部12は、第1ブッシュ41を弾性変形させた後、ころ軸受30に衝突する。【選択図】図2
