PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking force control device and a braking force control method which can suppress deterioration in an energy efficiency in travelling.SOLUTION: Regenerative braking force is controlled so that braking torque required for holding stop for holding a stopped state of a vehicle by regenerative braking force only is generated when a braking force operating element is in a non-operated state and for a period from when the vehicle stops from a travelling state until when it is determined that a driver intends to stop the vehicle. Friction braking force and the regenerative braking force are controlled so that the braking torque required for holding stop is generated by the friction braking force only when the braking force operating element is in the non-operated state and after it is determined that the driver intends to stop the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】走行エネルギー効率の低下を抑制することが可能な、制駆動力制御装置及び制駆動力制御方法を提供する。【解決手段】制駆動力操作子が未操作状態であり且つ車両が走行状態から停止してから運転者の意図が停車であるとの判定に至るまでの間は、回生制動力のみで車両の停止状態を保持するための停止保持必要制動トルクが発生するように回生制動力を制御し、制駆動力操作子が未操作状態であり且つ運転者の意図が停車であると判定した後は、摩擦制動力のみで停止保持必要制動トルクが発生するように、摩擦制動力と回生制動力を制御する。【選択図】図4
