PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road-side radio unit capable of generating two communication areas with one radio part.SOLUTION: The road-side radio unit comprises an antenna 4 that is installed at a road side, and communicates with an on-vehicle unit that is mounted in a vehicle. The antenna 4 includes: radiation elements 11a-11d; a feed line 13a for connecting a feeding point 12 to which a signal to be transmitted to the on-vehicle unit is inputted, with the radiation elements 11a and 11b; and a feed line 13b for connecting the feeding point 12 with the radiation elements 11c and 11d. The feed line 13a supplies first signals of the same phase to each of the radiation elements 11a and 11b, and the feed line 13b supplies second signals of which the phase is inverse to that of the first signal, to each of the radiation elements 11c and 11d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
