PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water jet propulsion ship that can reduce an influence on a surrounding environment by reducing sufficiently an exhaust gas temperature while reducing exhaust gas pressure loss and reducing signatures.SOLUTION: The water jet propulsion ship is equipped with: a hull; a flow path forming portion 2 that forms a flow path R1 through which water is introduced from an opening portion arranged at a bottom part of the hull; a nozzle 14 that is provided at an end part of the flow path forming portion 2 and formed so that the cross sectional area of the flow path R1 gradually decreases toward outside in an extending direction of the flow path forming portion; an impeller 3 that is arranged inside the flow path forming portion 2 and pressure-feeds the water introduced from the opening portion; an internal combustion engine E that drives at least the impeller 3; and an exhaust/flow path forming portion 15 that is merged with and connected to the flow path forming portion 2 and forms an exhaust/flow path through which exhaust gas G from the internal combustion engine E is supplied between the nozzle 14 and the impeller 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】排気ガス圧損の低減、および、低シグネチャー化を図りつつ、排気ガス温度を十分に低下させて周囲環境への影響を低減することが可能なウォータージェット推進船を提供する。【解決手段】船体と、前記船体の底部に配される開口部から水が導入される流路R1を形成する流路形成部2と、前記流路形成部2の端部に設けられ、前記流路形成部の延びる方向で外側に向かうに従って前記流路R1の断面積が減少するように形成されるノズル14と、前記流路形成部2の内部に配され、前記開口部から導入された水を圧送するインペラ3と、少なくとも前記インペラ3を駆動する内燃機関Eと、前記流路形成部2に合流接続され、前記ノズル14と前記インペラ3との間に前記内燃機関Eの排気ガスGを供給する排気流路を形成する排気流路形成部15と、を備える。【選択図】図2
