PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire performance evaluation method capable of knowing burden proportion or the like of a physical amount at every fine part of a tire.SOLUTION: A tire performance evaluation method includes: a process of classifying respective portions on a ground plane of a tire model as an element model into any of a plurality of groups; a process of grounding the tire model to a road surface model, analyzing behavior according to a finite element method and determining physical amounts of respective nodal points on the tire model; a process of classifying the respective nodal points on the ground plane of the tire model as either of a viscous region or a sliding region; and a process of respectively accumulating the physical amounts of the respective nodal points classified into the same group and the same regions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
