PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve occupant protection performance with respect to a vehicle side collision load, related to a side sill reinforcing structure.SOLUTION: In a reinforcing structure of a side sill 9 having a closed cross section which is formed by laminating an inner member 4 and an outer member 1B, and forming a lower frame of a vehicle door opening, a reinforcing member 5 is gripped between the inner member 4 and the outer member 1B, and arranged in the closed cross section. A cross section of the reinforcing member 5 is formed into a hat shape which protrudes to the outside of a vehicle. Furthermore, a support member 6 is fixed to a side face 5B and a bottom face 5C of the reinforcing member 5, and the reinforcing member 5 is reinforced. A lower face 6A fixed to the bottom face 5C and extended to the outside of the vehicle rather than the side face 5B along an extension face of the bottom face 5C is formed at the support member 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】サイドシル補強構造に関し、車両の側突荷重に対する乗員保護性を向上させる。【解決手段】インナ部材4とアウタ部材1Bとを重ね合わせて形成された閉断面を有し、車両のドア開口の下枠をなすサイドシル9の補強構造において、インナ部材4とアウタ部材1Bとの間にリンフォース部材5を挟装し、閉断面の内部に配置する。リンフォース部材5の断面は、車両外側に突出するハット型とする。また、リンフォース部材5の側面5B及び底面5Cにサポート部材6を固定して、リンフォース部材5を補強する。サポート部材6には、底面5Cに固定されて、底面5Cの延長面に沿って側面5Bよりも車両外側まで延設された下面部6Aを設ける。【選択図】図5
