PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that it is difficult to exert an appropriate control because the direction of attaching an acceleration sensor deviates depending on an attachment state of a damping force variable damper.SOLUTION: A damping force adjustment type damper 6 is provided between a vehicle body 2 of a vehicle 1 and a bogie 3. The damper 6 has a three-axis acceleration sensor 10 and a control unit 11, and the control unit 11 is provided with an arithmetic circuit 25 having direction calculation means 28 and command value calculation means 29. After calculating the attachment direction of the three-axis acceleration sensor 10, the direction calculation means 28 corrects detected accelerations of the three-axis acceleration sensor 10 on the basis of a calculation result and outputs corrected accelerations in the longitudinal, horizontal and vertical directions to the command value calculation means 29. The command value calculation means 29 computes a damping force command value from the corrected accelerations on the basis of a predetermined control rule and supplies drive currents to proportional solenoids 9A and 9B on the basis of the damping force command value. As a result, attaching the three-axis acceleration sensor 10 in the generally correct direction enables an appropriate control to be exerted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 減衰力可変ダンパの取り付け状態により、加速度センサの取り付け向きがずれるので、適切な制御を行うことが難しい。【解決手段】 車両1の車体2と台車3との間に、減衰力調整式緩衝器6を設ける。該緩衝器6は3軸加速度センサ10と制御部11を有し、制御部11には、向き算出手段28と指令値算出手段29を有する演算回路25が設けられる。向き算出手段28が3軸加速度センサ10の取り付け向きを算出後、該算出結果に基づいて3軸加速度センサ10の検出加速度を補正し、前後、左右、上下方向の補正加速度を指令値算出手段29に出力する。指令値算出手段29は、補正加速度から所定の制御則に基づき減衰力指令値を演算し、該減衰力指令値に基づき比例ソレノイド9A、9Bに駆動電流を供給する。これにより、3軸加速度センサ10をおおよそ正しい向きに取り付ければ、適切な制御を行うことが出来る。【選択図】 図1
