PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marine propeller and a method for manufacturing the marine propeller capable of reducing noise and vibration generated due to rotation of blade in water, as well as improving a propeller operation performance.SOLUTION: A marine propeller comprises: a hub disposed at an end of a propeller shaft; a plurality of blades fixed onto the hub in a circumferential direction of the hub. Each of the plurality of blades comprises: a blade body 16 made of a material containing a lightweight component; and a weight member 17 disposed in a rear edge part of the blade body 16 along in an extending direction of the blade body 16, and made of a material having a greater specific gravity than the material containing the lightweight component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
