PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of resonance and resonance sound caused by the generation of a Karman vortex in a water stream flowing over the surface of a propeller blade.SOLUTION: An outer surface of at least a rear edge part 3a of a propeller blade 3 is covered with an attenuation covering material 5 which is made of a material having a higher attenuation capability than a material forming a propeller blade 3. Desirably, the propeller blade 3 is integrally formed of a metal material, and it is preferable that a surface roughness of an area that is covered with the attenuation covering material 5 is kept rough without applying surface finish. For a material of the attenuation covering material 5, a fiber-reinforced plastic containing reinforcing fibers or a dynamic viscoelastic material such as rubber can be used. When using the rubber, magnetic rubber which has been magnetized by mixing ferrite is more preferred.

    【課題】プロペラ翼の表面を流れる水流にカルマン渦が発生することによるプロペラ翼の共振および共鳴音の発生を防止する。【解決手段】プロペラ翼3の、少なくとも後縁部3aの外表面に、該プロペラ翼3を形成する材料よりも減衰能が高い材質からなる減衰被装材5を被装した。プロペラ翼3は金属材料により一体に形成されていることが望ましく、減衰被装材5が被装される範囲は表面仕上げを行わずに表面祖度を粗くしておくのが好ましい。減衰被装材5の材質としては、強化繊維を含有させた繊維強化プラスチックや、ゴム等の動的粘弾性材料を用いることが好ましい。ゴムの場合は、フェライトを配合して着磁した磁性ゴムであればなお好ましい。【選択図】図2
