PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy while improving the durability of a power division mechanism that functions as a speed reducer when a first motor is used as a driving force source for traveling.SOLUTION: Even when an estimated value of a pinion temperature Tp_est reaches an upper limit temperature Tp_th, a controller permits a two-motor mode (step S16) until duration time Time_ON at that time reaches reference time τon (step S17). Even if the pinion temperature Tp_est falls and the estimated value thereof does not fall down to a permissible temperature Tpb, the controller permits the two-motor mode when duration time Time_OFF in a state where the two-motor mode is not executed reaches reference time τoff.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】第1モータを走行のための駆動力源とした場合に減速機として機能する動力分割機構の耐久性を向上させつつ燃費の向上を図る。【解決手段】ピニオン温度Tp_estの推定値が上限温度Tp_thに達しても、その時点の継続時間Time_ONが基準時間τonに達する(ステップS17)までは、ツーモータモードを許可する(ステップS16)。また、ピニオン温度Tp_estが低下してその推定値が許可温度Tpbにまで低下しなくても、ツーモータモードを実行していない状態の継続時間Time_OFFが基準時間τoff に達した時点でツーモータモードを許可する。【選択図】図1
