PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking type tiller which can easily set a brake capacity.SOLUTION: A walking type tiller 1 includes: an engine 20; a right/left pair of travel wheels 2L, 2R; a tillage claw 41 tilling a farm field; a transmission case 30 incorporating a transmission mechanism transmitting drive force from the engine 20 to the travel wheels 2L, 2R via a right/left pair of axles 50L, 50R and to the tillage claw 41; and a parking brake device 100 arranged one or both of the right/left pair of axles 50L, 50R protruding from the transmission case 30 to right/left directions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
