PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information generator capable of generating precise traffic information sufficient for actual use even when the number of disposed vehicle sensors is small.SOLUTION: The traffic information generator includes: a unit area setting section 37 that sets plural unit areas in a target area; a first traffic situation estimation section 39 that performs an estimation processing using a traffic flow model based on a piece of information of signal control result relevant to information from a vehicle sensor 1 and a signal controller 2, and estimates the traffic situation relevant to the generation of the traffic information for each of the unit areas; a traffic information generation section 41 that generates a piece of traffic information in the target area based on the information relevant to the traffic situation which is acquired by the first traffic situation estimation section; a second traffic situation estimation section 43 that estimates the traffic situation relevant to the generation of the signal control information for each of the unit areas by performing an estimation processing using the traffic flow model based on the information from the vehicle sensors and the information of signal control result; and a signal control information generation section 44 that generates a piece of signal control information based on the information relevant to the traffic situation acquired by the second traffic situation estimation section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両感知器の設置数が少ない状態でも、十分な精度で交通管理を行うことができるようにする。【解決手段】対象エリア内に単位エリアを設定する単位エリア設定部37と、車両感知器1の情報、および信号制御機2に関する信号制御実績情報に基づいて、交通流モデルを用いた推計処理を行って、交通情報の生成に係る交通状況を単位エリアごとに推計する第1の交通状況推計部39と、第1の交通状況推計部で取得した交通状況に関する情報に基づいて、対象エリア内の交通情報を生成する交通情報生成部41と、車両感知器の情報および信号制御実績情報に基づいて、交通流モデルを用いた推計処理を行って、信号制御情報の生成に係る交通状況を単位エリアごとに推計する第2の交通状況推計部43と、第2の交通状況推計部で取得した交通状況に関する情報に基づいて、信号制御情報を生成する信号制御情報生成部44と、を備えたものとする。【選択図】図3
