PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchanger and a method of manufacturing the heat exchanger capable of reducing manufacturing man-hours.SOLUTION: A core portion 10 is formed by joining a plurality of tubes 12, a reinforcement 14 disposed at an outer side in a stacking direction with respect to the tubes 12, fins 13 disposed between the tubes 12 and the reinforcement 14, and a first plate 21 and a second plate 22 respectively connected to both opening end portions 12A of the tubes 12, by soldering. The reinforcement 14 is divided into a first reinforcement member 15 and a second reinforcement member 16 by melting down a connecting member 18 disposed in the middle, in soldering the core portion 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
