PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve physical properties by enhancing dispersibility of a filler.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition containing 100 pts.mass of a rubber component containing a modified diene rubber obtained by reacting reduced carbohydrate with an aldehyde group and/or a keto group in a molecular terminal generated by oxidation cleavage of a diene rubber with an aldol condensation and 5 to 150 pts.mass of a filler. There is provided a manufacturing method of a rubber composition including degrading the diene rubber by oxidation cleavage, reacting reduced carbohydrate with the aldehyde group and/or the keto group in the molecular terminal of the degraded diene rubber with the aldol condensation to produce the modified diene rubber and mixing the resulting modified diene rubber with the filler.SELECTED DRAWING: None

    【課題】フィラーの分散性を向上して物性を改善する。【解決手段】ジエン系ゴムの酸化開裂によって生じた分子末端のアルデヒド基及び/又はケト基に還元糖をアルドール縮合で反応させてなる変性ジエン系ゴムを含むゴム成分100質量部に対して、フィラー5〜150質量部を含有するゴム組成物である。また、ジエン系ゴムを酸化開裂させることで分解し、分解したジエン系ゴムの分子末端のアルデヒド基及び/又はケト基に還元糖をアルドール縮合で反応させて変性ジエン系ゴムを生成し、得られた変性ジエン系ゴムをフィラーと混合するゴム組成物の製造方法である。【選択図】なし
