PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of achieving in a short time, ranging to a short-distance target having high reflectance.SOLUTION: A state determination part (30:S110) determines whether or not the state is in a specific situation having a possibility of executing steering for moving a vehicle to the irradiation side of a laser beam. When determined that the state is in the specific situation by the state determination part, an output adjustment part (30:S130-S170) lowers intensity of a laser beam to be irradiated furthermore than setting at a normal time until establishment of a recovery condition set beforehand.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】高反射率の近距離物標に対する測距を短時間で実現する技術を提供する。【解決手段】状況判断部(30:S110)は、レーザ光を照射する側に車両を移動させる操舵が実行される可能性のある特定状況であるか否かを判断する。出力調整部(30:S130〜S170)は、状況判断部により特定状況であると判断された場合に、予め設定された復帰条件が成立するまでの間、照射するレーザ光の強度を通常時の設定より低下させる。【選択図】図3
