PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost and a vehicle body mass through reduction in the number of components by improving a reinforcement member.SOLUTION: A reinforcement member 4 is configured in a substantially hat sectional form by a long body part 4a whose axially right-angled cross section is formed in an approximately U shape, and a pair of flange parts 4b formed at tip parts of a pair of side face walls 4a-1 constituting the body part 4a so as to extend in a vehicle body vertical direction along a longitudinal direction. Both flange parts 4b comprise bent flange parts 4b-1 which are formed integrally by bending the tip parts along the side face walls 4a-1 of the body part 4a. The bent flange parts 4b-1 are attached to an inner wall of a sill outer 2a, and a top face wall 4a-2 of the body part 4a is attached to an inner wall of a sill inner 2b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】補強部材を改良することにより、部品点数を少なくして、コストや車体質量の軽減を図るべくなした。【解決手段】補強部材4が、軸直角断面が大略コの字状に形成された長尺の本体部4aと本体部4aを構成する一対の側面壁4a−1における各先端部にそれぞれ長手方向に沿って車体上下方向に張出延在するように形成された一対のフランジ部4bとにより略ハット断面型に構成され、且つ、両フランジ部4bが、その先端部を本体部4aの側面壁4a−1に沿って折曲することにより一体形成された折曲フランジ部4b−1をそれぞれ有して構成され、折曲フランジ部4b−1がシルアウター2aの内壁に取着されると共に、本体部4aの頂面壁4a−2がシルインナー2bの内壁に取着されている。【選択図】図1
