PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unintended variation in cabin temperature that is caused by that air after cooling a vehicular battery is discharged to the outside of the vehicle.SOLUTION: A battery mounting structure includes: the battery 11 mounted to a vehicle; both suspension towers 25, 26 for rear wheels of the vehicle; and a hollow columnar-like coupling beam 31 jointed to the battery and coupling both suspension towers. In the battery mounting structure, through-holes 24a, 26a are formed in the suspension towers and the through-holes are connected to a heat radiation opening of the battery via a hollow part of the coupling beam.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
