PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent a fall of a lower panel caused by a reaction when a knee airbag is operated.SOLUTION: A lower panel 2 is fastened and fixed to a vehicle body reinforcing member 5 at its one side 2a. A peripheral edge of the lower panel 2 is locked and fixed to an instrument panel 1 by using a claw fixing part. Then, fall prevention claws 21, 22 are arranged at a tip of a claw part 13 while having lock faces which are higher than the claw part 13 in claw heights. Furthermore, the fall prevention claw parts 21, 22 are arranged in a plurality of pieces at installation heights h1, h2 which are different from each other in a vertical direction 11. In addition to this, a distance L1 from a the fall prevent claw part 21 which is apart from one side 2a up to the claw part 13 is set shorter than a distance L2 from the fall prevention claw part 22 which is near one side 2a up to the claw part 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8

    【課題】ニーエアバック装置が作動した時の反動による下部パネルの脱落を有効に防止し得るようにする。【解決手段】下部パネル2が、その一辺部2aを、車体強度部材5に対して締結固定される。下部パネル2の周縁部が、インストルメントパネル1に対し、爪固定部を用いて係止固定される。そして、脱落防止用爪部21,22が、爪部13の先端部に、爪部13よりも爪高さが高い係止面を有して設けられる。更に、脱落防止用爪部21,22が、上下方向11に異なる設置高さh1,h2で複数設けられる。加えて、一辺部2aから遠くに位置する脱落防止用爪部21から爪部13までの距離L1が、一辺部2aに近い脱落防止用爪部22から爪部13までの距離L2よりも短く形成される。【選択図】図8
