PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an angular velocity sensor device and a method for correcting an angular velocity sensor with which it is made possible to compensate for an offset with high accuracy when using the angular velocity sensor.SOLUTION: An angular velocity sensor device comprises: an angular velocity sensor 10, provided in a moving entity, for detecting an angular velocity when the moving entity has turned in a horizontal direction; an acceleration sensor 20, juxtaposed to the angular velocity sensor 10, for detecting an inclination angle that is referenced to a direction of gravity; a drive unit 30 for rotating both the angular velocity sensor 10 and the acceleration sensor 20 in the direction of gravity or in a direction opposite thereto by a prescribed angle from the horizontal direction; and a processing unit 40 for integrating the angular velocities detected by the angular velocity sensor 10 and calculating a first inclination angle when the angular velocity sensor 10 and the acceleration sensor 20 are rotated by the prescribed angle, and compensating for an angle on the basis of a difference between a second inclination angle detected by the acceleration sensor 20 when the moving entity has turned in the horizontal direction and the first inclination angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】 角速度センサを用いる際に、精度良くオフセットを補償することを可能にする角速度センサ装置および角速度センサ補正方法を提供する。【解決手段】 運動体に設けられ、運動体が水平方向で向きを変えたときの角速度を検出する角速度センサ10と、角速度センサ10に併設され、重力方向を基準とした傾斜角度を検出する加速度センサ20と、角速度センサ10と加速度センサ20の両方を重力方向またはその逆方向に、水平方向から所定角度だけ回転する駆動部30と、角速度センサ10と加速度センサ20とが所定角度だけ回転されたときに、角速度センサ10が検出した角速度を積算して第1の傾斜角度を算出し、所定角度だけ回転されたときに加速度センサ20が検出した第2の傾斜角度と、第1の傾斜角度との差を基に、運動体が水平方向で向きを変えたときの角度を補償する処理部40とを備える。【選択図】 図1
