PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in a brake distance in accordance with a situation.SOLUTION: A brake distance suppression device used in an electric drive type work vehicle comprises: a safety vehicle speed calculation part 9 which calculates such a safety vehicle speed that a brake distance with an electric type brake device becomes equal to or less than a threshold on the basis of gradient information, loading amount information, road surface friction information, vehicle speed information and the characteristics of braking torque of an electric motor; a deceleration limit vehicle speed calculation part 5 which calculates such a deceleration limit vehicle speed that deceleration with the electric type brake device becomes equal to or less than a threshold; a vehicle speed determination part 8 which determines whether a vehicle can be stopped by the electric type brake device within a set distance from a result obtained by comparing the vehicle speed information with the safety vehicle speed and the deceleration limit vehicle speed; a notification instruction part 17 which prompts attention or braking operation on the basis of the determination result; an operation determination part 14 which determines the setting of notification from an amount of pedal operation; and a logic product calculation part 15 which outputs the setting of the notification operation on the basis of the determination results of the vehicle speed determination part 8 and the operation determination part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】状況に応じて制動距離の増大を抑制する。【解決手段】電気駆動式の作業車両に用いる制動距離抑制装置において、勾配情報、積載量情報、路面摩擦情報、車速情報及び電動モータの制動トルクの特性を基に電気式ブレーキ装置による制動距離が閾値以下となる安全車速を算出する安全車速算出部9と、電気式ブレーキ装置による減速度が閾値以下となる減速度限界車速を算出する減速度限界車速算出部5と、車速情報を安全車速及び減速度限界車速と比較した結果から設定距離以内で電気式ブレーキ装置により停止可能か判定する車速判定部8と、その判定結果を基に注意喚起又はブレーキ操作を促す報知指示部17と、ペダル操作量から報知の設定を判定する操作判定部14と、車速判定部8及び操作判定部14の判定結果を基に報知動作の設定を出力する論理積算出部15とを備えたことを特徴とする。【選択図】 図1
