PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for controlling the drive of a rotary machine which has power converters for plural circuits of plural groups of plural windings, which is, even when a short circuit failure occurs on any circuit power converter or winding set, capable of controlling to output a torque which complements a brake torque to the rotary machine by using the drive by a normal circuit.SOLUTION: When either one of circuits of power converters or winding sets in two circuits gets a short circuit failure, the motor controller stops the output to the power converter of the failed circuit. When a motor stops (motor angular velocity ω=0), with respect to the output to the power converter of the normal circuit, the motor controller sets a maximum current limit value Ilim to (Imax/2), which is a maximum current limit value per circuit during normal drive. While the motor is rotating, the motor controller increases maximum current limit value Ilim for the larger motor angular velocity ω. With this, a torque for complementing a brake torque, which is generated by a counter-electromotive voltage which is generated on a failure circuit, can be output to the motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】 複数系統の電力変換器を備え複数組の巻線組を有する回転機の駆動を制御する制御装置において、いずれかの系統の電力変換器又は巻線組でショート故障が発生したとき、正常系統のみの駆動で、ブレーキトルクを補うトルクを回転機に出力させる制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】 モータ制御装置は、二系統の電力変換器又は巻線組のうちいずれか一方の系統がショート故障したとき、故障系統の電力変換器への出力を停止する。そして、正常系統の電力変換器への出力について、モータの停止時(モータ回転角速度ω=0)には、最大電流制限値Ilimを「通常駆動時における一系統あたりの最大電流制限値」である(Imax/2)に設定し、モータの回転中は、モータ回転角速度ωが大きいほど最大電流制限値Ilimを増加させる。これにより、故障系統に発生する逆起電圧によって生ずるブレーキトルクを補うトルクをモータに出力させることができる。【選択図】図4
