PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation of fuel economy in a case of starting a neutral control while a vehicle including a continuously variable transmission mechanism and a power train in parallel between an input rotating member and an output rotating member is running at a reduced velocity in a state in which a second power transmission path via the continuously variable transmission is formed.SOLUTION: If a neutral control is started by half-engagement of a CVT running clutch C2 while a vehicle is running at a reduced velocity in a state in which a second power transmission path is formed, a clutch mechanism half-engaged by the neutral control during the speed-reduced running is changed from the CVT running clutch C2 to an advancement clutch C1 until the vehicle is stopped. Therefore, the neutral control can be continued until the vehicle is stopped, and a path is already switched to a first power transmission path in which a gear ratio EL lower than a lowest gear ratio γmax that can be formed in the second power transmission path is formed at a time of stopping the vehicle. It is thereby possible to promptly execute an idling stop control after the vehicle is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】入力回転部材と出力回転部材との間に並列に無段変速機構及び伝動機構が備えられた車両において、無段変速機構を介した第2動力伝達経路が形成された状態での減速走行中にニュートラル制御を開始した場合に、燃費の悪化を抑制する。【解決手段】第2動力伝達経路が形成された状態での減速走行中にCVT走行用クラッチC2を半係合させることでニュートラル制御を開始した場合は、停車するまでに、減速走行中のニュートラル制御にて半係合させるクラッチ機構がCVT走行用クラッチC2から前進用クラッチC1へ変更されるので、停車するまでニュートラル制御を継続でき、停車時には第2動力伝達経路において形成できる最ローギヤ比γmaxよりもロー側のギヤ比ELが形成される第1動力伝達経路へ既に切り替えられている。これにより、停車後には直ぐに、アイドルストップ制御を実行することができる。【選択図】図4
