PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a quick charger including a plurality of power plugs, the utilization rate of which can be increased.SOLUTION: A quick charger 1 is constituted of a quick charger body 3 housing a DC power supply 7, a power supply control unit 9, a command generation unit 11, and a communication unit 13, and a plug split unit 5 including a power supply switching circuit 15, and a plurality of power plugs 17. When more than one power plugs 17 are connected, respectively, with more than one plug-in connectors 21 of a plug-in type vehicle 19, the command generation unit 11 generates a selection command for selecting one power plug 17 according to a predetermined selection rule, and then generates a control command so that a storage battery 23 is not charged fully, but is charged quickly to a predetermined state of charge less than the fully charged state.

    【課題】複数の電源プラグを備えた急速充電装置の稼働率を高めることができる急速充電装置を提供する。【解決手段】急速充電装置1は、直流電源部7と、電源制御部9と、指令発生部11と、通信部13とが収納された急速充電装置本体3と、電力供給切換回路15と、複数の電源プラグ17とを備えたプラグ分割ユニット5とから構成されている。指令発生部11は、2以上の電源プラグ17が2以上のプラグイン型車両19のプラグインコネクタ21にそれぞれ接続されているときには、予め定めた選択規則に従って1つの電源プラグ17を選択する選択指令を発生し、その後、蓄電器23を満充電状態まで充電せずに、満充電状態よりも少ない所定の充電状態まで蓄電器23を急速充電するように制御指令を発生する。【選択図】 図2
