PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable indoor positioning without mounting a GPS receiver.SOLUTION: A positional information output device 2 of an indoor positioning system 1 includes an ultrasonic output unit 11; and a control unit 13. The ultrasonic output unit 11 outputs an ultrasonic wave having an ultrasonic output frequency. The control unit 13 has a plurality of detectable frequencies falling in a frequency range detectable by a voice input unit 44 provided in a mobile terminal 3 and set in advance to be lower than the ultrasonic output frequency, sequentially selects one detectable frequency from among the detectable frequencies as a modulation frequency in response to a content of installation position information, and controls the ultrasonic output unit 11 so that a maximal value or a minimal value of an amplitude of the ultrasonic wave changes at the selected modulation frequency.

    【課題】GPS受信機を搭載することなく屋内測位を可能とする【解決手段】屋内測位システム1の位置情報出力装置2は、超音波出力部11と、制御部13とを備える。超音波出力部11は、超音波出力周波数を有する超音波を出力する。制御部13は、携帯端末3が備える音声入力部44により検出可能な周波数範囲に含まれるとともに超音波出力周波数より低くなるように予め設定された複数の検出可能周波数を有し、設置位置情報の内容に応じて、複数の検出可能周波数の中から1つの検出可能周波数を変調周波数として順次選択し、選択した変調周波数で超音波の振幅の極大値または極小値が変化するように超音波出力部11を制御する。【選択図】図1
