PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rope guide mechanism and a rope hoist for which a slide member can be used in common.SOLUTION: A rope guide mechanism 34 prevents a wire rope W from being irregularly wound around a rope drum of the rope hoist. The rope guide mechanism 34 includes: a first slide member 36 with which a projection 361 is formed at an inner peripheral side and which includes a one-end connection part 364a and another-end connection part 364b at one end side and another end side in a circumferential direction, respectively; and a second slide member 36 which has the same shape as the first slide member 36 and is connected with the first slide member 36 to form a ring-shaped ring member 35. In a first fixture portion F1 where the one-end connection part 364a and the other-end connection part 364b are coupled by coupling means, both the connection parts are fixed while interposing a spacer 37 which has a width for one pitch of the projection 361, therebetween and in a second fixture portion F2 at an opposite side in the circumferential direction, both the connection parts are fixed directly.
