PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which can determine whether or not a tire chain is installed on a vehicle from the exterior of the vehicle.SOLUTION: An installation determination device comprises: front wheel oscillation acquisition means which acquires front wheel oscillation which is excited by a front wheel of a vehicle; rear wheel oscillation acquisition means which acquires rear wheel oscillation which is excited by a rear wheel of the vehicle; and installation determination means which determines whether or not a tire chain is installed on the front wheel or the rear wheel on the basis of a result of comparison between a property of the front wheel oscillation and a property of the rear wheel oscillation.
