PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear wheel steering device which can suppress the generation of wobbling in a rotating direction caused by the wear of a whirl-stop mechanism part which whirl-stops a rear wheel steering shaft.SOLUTION: There are arranged drive parts 17L, 17R which independently move rods 16L, 16R which are whirl-stopped by a whirl-stop mechanism 38, and steer one of a pair of right and left rear wheels 3L, 3R by moving to an axial direction. The whirl-stop mechanism 38 of the rods 16L, 16R is rotatably supported by incorporating a stopper pin 45 into a pin insertion hole 46 in a radial direction which is formed at a housing 18, the rods 16L, 16R are whirl-stopped by inserting a tip of the stopper pin 45 which faces the inside of the housing 18 into an axially-long whirl-stop recess 44 formed at an external periphery of the rods 16L, 16R, the stopper pin 45 is contact-rotated by the contact of the whirl-stop recess 44 with a side face when moving the rods 16L, 16R to the axial direction by the drive of the drive parts 17L, 17R, the wear of a contact part between the side face of the whirl-stop recess 44 and the stopper pin 45 is suppressed, and the generation of wobbling in a rotating direction is prevented.

    【課題】後輪転舵軸を回り止めする回り止め機構部での摩耗による回転方向ガタの発生を抑制することができるようにした後輪転舵装置を提供することである。【解決手段】回り止め機構38により回り止めされ、軸方向への移動によって左右一対の後輪3L、3Rの一方を転舵するロッド16L、16Rを単独に移動させる駆動部17L、17Rを設ける。ロッド16L、16Rの回り止め機構38を、ハウジング18に形成された径方向のピン挿入孔46内にストッパピン45を組み込んで回転自在に支持し、そのストッパピン45の前記ハウジング18内に臨む先端部をロッド16L、16Rの外周に形成された軸方向に長い回り止め凹部44に挿入してロッド16L、16Rを回り止めし、駆動部17L、17Rの駆動によりロッド16L、16Rを軸方向に移動させる際に、回り止め凹部44の側面に対する接触によりストッパピン45を接触回転させて、回り止め凹部44の側面とストッパピン45との接触部の摩耗を抑制し、回転方向ガタが発生するのを防止する。【選択図】図3
