PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and surely execute a neutral return in abnormal time, with a simple constitution, in a rear wheel steering device for steering a rear wheel of a vehicle by an electric motor.SOLUTION: A neutral return motor 40 is arranged adjacently to a main motor 10, and its sliders 41 and 42 are arranged so as to abut on a neutral axial directional area of an electrode base 30 in neutral stopping time of the main motor, and when driving the main motor, the respective sliders are arranged so as to abut any one of a normal rotation side electrode and a reverse rotation side electrode in response to its driving state, and a rear wheel steering device also comprises a relay 60 for opening-closing a driving circuit of the neutral return motor and a control circuit 70 for setting the relay in an opening position in normal time, capable of driving the main motor, stopping the main motor in abnormal time and setting the relay in a closing position, and the neutral return motor is driven in response to a position of the electrode base for abutting on the sliders in abnormal time, and the main motor is driven for returning to a neutral stopping position via a speed reduction mechanism 50.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】車両の後輪を電動モータによって操舵する後輪操舵装置において、簡単な構成で、異常時の中立復帰を容易且つ確実に行う。【解決手段】主モータ10に隣接して中立復帰モータ40が配置され、その摺動子41、42が、主モータの中立停止時は電極台30の中立軸方向領域に当接するように配置され、主モータの駆動時には、その駆動状態に応じて、夫々の摺動子が、正転側の電極及び逆転側の電極の何れか一方に当接するように配置されている。更に、中立復帰モータの駆動回路を開閉するリレー60と、通常時はリレーを開位置とすると共に主モータを駆動可能とし、異常時には主モータを停止すると共にリレーを閉位置とする制御回路70を備え、異常時に摺動子が当接している電極台の位置に応じて中立復帰モータが駆動され、減速機構50を介して主モータが中立停止位置に復帰駆動される。【選択図】図1
