PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle drive control unit capable of realizing appropriate engine start irrespective of a battery state.SOLUTION: In a case of starting an engine 12 in a state in which a hybrid electric vehicle is stopped and a shift switchgear prevents a parking lock gear from rotating, the engine 12 is started in a first starting mode for increasing a revolving speed Nof the engine 12 by a torque output from a second motor-generator MG2 in a state of engaging a brake BK1. It is, therefore, possible to appropriately start the engine 12 even in a state in which power output from a battery falls such as cold start. That is, it is possible to provide an electronic control unit of a hybrid electric vehicle drive 10 for realizing appropriate engine start irrespective of a battery state.

    【課題】バッテリの状態によらず好適なエンジン始動を実現するハイブリッド車両用駆動装置の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両が停止させられ且つシフト切替装置によりパーキングロックギヤの回転が阻止された状態において、エンジン12が始動させられる場合には、ブレーキBK1を係合させた状態において第2電動機MG2の出力トルク2から出力されるトルクによりエンジン12の回転速度NEを上昇させる第1の始動態様によりエンジン12を始動させるものであることから、冷間等、バッテリの出力が低下している状態においても、好適に前記エンジン12を始動させることができる。すなわち、バッテリの状態によらず好適なエンジン始動を実現するハイブリッド車両用駆動装置10の電子制御装置を提供することができる。【選択図】図1
