PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support structure of a propeller shaft which enables a propeller shaft to shrink and retreat while bending in a predetermined direction during a frontal collision.SOLUTION: A support structure of a propeller shaft includes: a propeller shaft 100 extending in a fore and aft direction of a vehicle body; a bearing 210 rotatably supporting the propeller shaft 100; a bearing attachment body 1 which fits on the bearing 210 and attaches the bearing 210 to the vehicle body; an annular deflector 124 which is disposed at the front side of the bearing attachment body 1 and integrally rotates with the propeller shaft 100; and a protruding part 54 which protrudes to the deflector 124 only at the left side of the bearing attachment body 1. The deflector 124 is butted with the protruding part 54 when retreating.

    【課題】前方衝突した場合において推進軸が所定の方向で折れ曲がりつつ縮退する推進軸の支持構造を提供する。【解決手段】車体の前後方向に延びる推進軸100と、推進軸100を回転自在に支持する軸受210と、軸受210に外嵌すると共に軸受210を車体に取り付ける軸受取付体1と、軸受取付体1の前方に配置されると共に推進軸100と一体で回転する環状のデフレクタ124と、軸受取付体1の左側のみにおいてデフレクタに向かって突出する突出部54と、を備え、デフレクタ124が後退すると、デフレクタ124が突出部54に突き当たる。【選択図】図3
